About Kaya 

Kaya began jiu-jitsu at 8 years old, developing a deep passion and love of the sport. By the age of 10 he was training with adults in one of Thailand’s top gyms before signing up for his first real challenge, the Abu Dhabi Worlds in which he placed second at the age of 14. Later, he moved to the Bali MMA to live and train until he was 17 and gained the opportunity to train with Lachlan Giles at Absolute MMA and later on Craig Jones which is when made it his goal to become one of the best in the No Gi scene eventually going to the States to train and achieve his goals. Kaya now coaches NOGI at Mat Shark Jiu-Jitsu in Forrestdale 


Kaya Rudolph has taught many seminars across Europe, Australia and New Zealand covering Guard passing, Front Headlocks, Leglocks, Wrestling, and Back attacks.


Major achievements: ADCC Oceania and Asian Trials 2022 – 3rd Place

IBJJF No Gi Worlds Brown belt – 2nd Place


ADCC Australia Open – 1st Place

Abu Dhabi Worlds – 2nd Place


Australian Pan Pacific – 1st Place.
